Matchup | Difficulty | Win Rate | Games Played | Early | Mid | Late | Tips | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | 9 | Lose | Skill | Win | You hard lose early game, farm with Q and always dodge his Q sweet spots. When fighting save your W for Aatrox Q3. The key is to just not fall behind early or else Aatrox will become a real problem. You will eventually outscale at some point after 2 items, be patient and don't give Aatrox the chance to snowball. Recommended to ban Aatrox as you climb to higher elo it will get more unplayable | |||
![]() | 6 | Lose | Skill | Win | Never get hit by empowered autos when Akali uses Q. Go for grasp trades when her Q is down and she's low on energy. If Akali wastes shroud or E, then you can play aggressively. | |||
![]() | 5 | Lose | Win | Win | Play to survive this lane. Akshan has immense kill pressure on you from level 2, miss minions if you have to and stay health. Take teleport ghost so you can just TP back after harassment. You want to bait Akshan into using Q onto the wave and push into you so you can safely farm at your tower. You outscale at level 11 with two items. Also possibly watch out at level 3 for a stacked wave dive with enemy jungler. | |||
![]() | 8 | Skill | Skill | Lose | Extremely hard matchup if Camille takes ignite and builds Sunderer. Use W to block her hookshot burst. Hover in and out of Camille's W range and bait it OR walk through it directly on her to dodge. Be aware of Camille's passive and don't waste your abilities into her magic shield. You get outscaled in a brute fight at sunderer, you will need to play smart to win this matchup. Build Anathema's Chains > Armor Boots > Bramble > HeartSteel > Thornmail > Titanic. Recommended to Dodge this matchup if you ban Aatrox | |||
![]() | 5 | Skill | Skill | Lose | Take Ghost Teleport. You want Cass to push into you early without letting the wave crash into tower and poke her in the meanwhile. At level 4 once the wave is frozen, look to land a Q and all-in with ghost. You play to win extended trades without letting her kite you around minions. Always focus on dodging her Q. Your passive completely negates Cass ult so there is no need to sidestep it. At level 11, you can just dive and run her down on repeat. | |||
![]() | 3 | Skill | Skill | Win | You should beat Chogath at all points of the game and outscale. Rush level 2 in this matchup without pushing too hard. If it does push, let it crash and set up a freeze on your side of the lane. Always use your R early in fights to avoid getting into execute range. Use Ghost/ult speed to sidestep Cho's Q. You auto win all fights at two items. | |||
![]() | 5 | Skill | Skill | Win | Play for Short trades with Q auto E while Darius wants to play for extended trades. This lane tests your spacing skills, You need to space Darius Q while poking with your Q. If you lose your passive to Darius E, play passive till it comes back up. When fighting him, use Ghost to stay a little under Darius so he can't use his Q heal. Post 6, save your W for Darius R. When you see Darius ultimate animation, you instantly W > R. Cast W again when the damage goes through. | |||
![]() | 9 | Skill | Skill | Lose | Difficult matchup, you need to space very well to avoid Fiora Q's with nice movements while retaliating with your Q. She is likely to use parry on your Q or E, move to the side after casting these, you will lose if you get hit by parry due ot attack speed slow. Post 6, use your R and ghost to juke fiora's parry and use your W on Fiora's R vital procs while hugging the walls(to deny a vital). You can win if even/ahead at Heartsteel/Thornmail | |||
![]() | 6 | Skill | Skill | Skill | Do not eat free poke from GP early so you have enough HP to all-in him in later levels. Farm from a distance with Q and also poke Gangplank with Q's, also use your Auto E reset to kill barrels he puts down. You want to manage the wave so that you have a long lane to run GP down in. | |||
![]() | 7 | Win | Skill | Skill | Since Garen Q will cleanse slows, its ideal to bait him to use it first and then you Q slow to kite him and wait for it to run out to auto E on him. Be very cautious of his level 6 mid game powerspike as he can kill you in 1 rotation with ignite. This matchup can get complicated in all-ins because you want to use W on Garen R then use your R but if Garen uses ignite its not worth it to hold ult and you should ult earlier and if Garen still has Q silence he can stop your combo. | |||
![]() | 6 | Skill | Win | Win | Let Gnar push in early and set up a freeze at tower so you can look to all-in at level 4 provided you don't eat poke for free. Watch Gnar's rage bar because you do not win vs Mega-Gnar. Focus on farming and poking with Q while playing back. | |||
![]() | 4 | Skill | Skill | Skill | You win at all points if even but its hard to get a solo kill on Gragas. Use your prio to help your jungler/punish enemy jungler. Gragas plays for short trades and sustain while you want to either look for free poke with q abusing Gragas wide model OR look for all-ins by freezing at your tower. You should win trades at all points. | |||
![]() | 10 | Skill | Skill | Lose | Unplayable. Dodge the matchup, you lose early and get outscaled/can't match in sidelane and its pretty difficult to itemize. | |||
![]() | 6 | Skill | Skill | Lose | Focus on clearing his turrets with Q and E through minions. Its going to take awhile but you should play the early game slow. Once you have 1-2 items you can run down Heimerdinger fairly easy since he's reliant on his E stun on most matchups which is not effective into Mundo, just make sure you keep clearing his turrets. If the lane goes even you hard-win teamfights as well. The worst case scenario is not clearing his turrets and letting him push you into your Tower while he has 3 turrets up letting him poke you for free. | |||
![]() | 9 | Skill | Skill | Lose | Play to survive laning phase, you should outscale her in teamfights. In lane Illaoi players will look to land her E when you are last hitting minions, be aware of this and fake her out with your movements or miss a minion to bait it out. When her E is down, you need to clear out Illaoi's passive tentacles. | |||
![]() | 6 | Lose | Skill | Lose | Be cautious if Irelia has ignite in the early game, otherwise you really want to focus on Irelia's passive and your minions. If Irelias is able to Q onto 3 of your minions and then you, you're likely to lose a trade but that goes both ways. If your minions have too much HP for her to Q and she doesnt have passive stacked, you can win trades fairly easily spacing her. | |||
![]() | 7 | Lose | Skill | Lose | This matchup is all about Mundo's Passive. Whenever Jax jumps on you, space out his E stun while also landing your Q to kite. Never let Jax pop your passive without making him pay for it. When you have grasp go for short trades with E > auto >click backwards. This wont give Jax room to retaliate without using Q. Post 6, you really want to bait Jax to ult and kite him out. Play this lane slow and methodically and you will be fine. You go even with him in the sidelane. Always play passively when your passive is on CD. | |||
![]() | 4 | Lose | Win | Win | Favorable matchup, play it like a classic ranged matchup where you let Jayce hard push for the first 3-4 waves but don't let it crash into tower and thin it out. You're looking to poke him down while he pushes and look for an all-in at level 4 after landing a few of your Q's. Take advantage of the fact that Jayce can't use his knockback into your passive so he can't peel you. If you fail to do this you still outscale and with a slight lead you can dive jayce on repeat. | |||
![]() | 5 | Lose | Skill | Win | Turns into a farm lane, Karma will just heal off any damage you do with R > W. The only way you can kill Karma is if she blunders by using R > Q for poke instead. Just focus on outscaling her in teamfights OR just get tanky enough to tank her damage in the sidelane and take towers with demolish in front of her. | |||
![]() | 4 | Win | Skill | Lose | You can run Kayle down fairly easily in the early game in a long lane during extended trades. Focus on poking her down to 60 percent with Q's and pop ghost and run her down. Either Rush level 2 first looking for all-in or let Kayle push you in for first 4 waves like a standard ranged matchup and poke her down for all-in. Mundo can manage against Kayle's scaling if played well in the 1v1 | |||
![]() | 3 | Lose | Skill | Win | You don't have much kill pressure on Kennen early, focus on not taking too much poke damage and farming up. You outscale Kennen in the side lane once you get items where he will become helpless but he will still be a menace in teamfights so don't give him what he wants. You really want to keep waves pushed in as the game scales. In teamfights think for yourself if its better to dive enemy backline or to hit kennen with Slows so he can't ult your backline carries. | |||
![]() | 8 | Lose | Win | Win | Extremely hard matchup, you really have no kill pressure on Kled because when you dismount him your Q does too little damage to low hp targets to kill mini-kled. You want to play in a way that he gets dismounted and you powerfarm and outscale. Focus heavily on dodging Kled Q because it gives a massive 60 percent healing reduction. If he pops your passive do not pick it up and just back off. You only outscale very late in the game like 3 items to 1v1 him but you will be more useful than Kled in teamfights and you can block his ultimates for your team. | |||
![]() | 2 | Lose | Win | Win | ||||
![]() | 2 | Lose | Win | Skill | ||||
![]() | 1 | Win | Win | Win | Extremely easy matchup, Malphite can't fight you at any point especially early game when he just runs out of mana. Good lane to push him in for 3 wave cheater recall and freeze on him and build a massive lead over malphite. Malphite R is also blocked by your passive so he can't do anything in this lane. You really just play to keep the wave on your side so have lots of room to poke him and run him down with ghost. | |||
![]() | 2 | Win | Win | Win | Similar to Malphite, its an easy lane where Maokai can't really beat you 1v1 at any point in the game and he really can't even set up ganks on you. You want to set up a freeze on Maokai by pushing him in with a 3 wave cheater recall and look for all-in fights on your side of the lane. You won't be able to poke Maokai out of lane due to his sustain. If you're playing for jungle, perma shove Maokai into turret so he can't do anything to help his team. | |||
![]() | 5 | Skill | Skill | Skill | Favorable matchup, especially since your passive will block mordekaiser's ult unless he lands his E on you. You're playing to slowly whittle him down with Q's until he's aroudn 40 percent hp where you can all-in. Get comfortable with hovering in and out of Mord's Q range and baiting it while landing your own. | |||
![]() | 5 | Win | Win | Lose | You're on a timer to set Nasus behind while you can early on. You can opttionally late invade enemy top buff with your jungler taking advantage of Nasus's nonexistant level 1 pressure. In this lane you really want to trade as much as you can in his face while passively setting up a slow push. | |||
![]() | 2 | Win | Win | Win | ||||
![]() | 7 | Lose | Skill | Skill | Very hard, don't fight olaf and play to scale. Olaf's goal is to crash the wave to set up a slow push towards his tower to freeze and run you down in the long lane. Do you best to prevent him from crashing the wave and focus on thinning the wave while dodging Olaf axes. If olaf misses, you have a small window to harass but do not auto trade him. If he ever his Q on you, land your Q and focus on procing phase rush to disengage. In general look to teamfight and survive this brutal laning phase, you need good wave fundamentals to get through it | |||
![]() | 6 | Skill | Skill | Win | You need nice movements in the early game, whenever Ornn casts his Q, you really need to focus on sidestepping it or else he will do Q > E > W and chunk you. Ideally, let Ornn push in the wave and look to keep poking with your Q. Watch for windows where Ornn's W is down to go for grasp auto E trades with him. If you lost lane you can neutralize with warmogs to deal with his continuous W harassment | |||
![]() | 4 | Lose | Win | Win | Play very disciplined before first item because you win lane at first item. At two items, you crush Pantheon 1v1 and can even dive him full hp. Early game just respect Pantheon W, and be aware that he'll have prio. Make sure your jungler/mid is aware of Pantheon's early threat with his ult/roams | |||
![]() | 4 | Skill | Win | Win | Poppy is usually considered a scaling tank but Mundo outscales her especially in damage. Poppy can't use her W against Mundo she he has no dash and poppy'e wall stun is going to be difficult to use into Mundo's passive. The only thing to watch out for is Poppy's Q high base damage in the early game. Since you know you outscale her as a tank, its viable to just push in the wave and take enemy jg camps or rotate where needed | |||
![]() | 5 | Lose | Win | Win | Same as other ranged matchups, play safe and dont eat poke. Let he push in for first few waves while you chip away at her hp with Q and E from afar. If you successfully poked her down to about half hp while she's pushed up look to run her down with ghost. Once you have Armor boots, Giants Belt and Bami's Cinder you will be able to run her down, if you want dominance buidl warden's mail for the 1v1. Play disiplined early and you will outscale with no problem. Be cautious if she has ignite, her burst will be surprisngly high after he pops your passive | |||
![]() | 6 | Lose | Skill | Win | Hard lane early game, you want to play safe and farm/poke with Q's. Be cautious of Renekton W as it will pop your passive and make short trades undesirable. You really want long extended trades into Renekton when possible. When your passive is down, play safe and try to make it difficult for Renekton to W you. The lane turns in your favor between 1-2 items depending on if Renekton has ignite or not. Take Ghost Teleport | |||
![]() | 7 | Lose | Skill | Win | ||||
![]() | 8 | Lose | Win | Skill | Riven's love to cheese kill with Flash level 2, the only thing protecting you is your passive so your goal is to keep it protected, Whenever your Passive is down you need to play extremely safe and respect Riven's all-in. Level 6 onwards she has even more 1 shot potential against you if she has ignite. Your goal is to poke her with Q's and counterattack when Riven only has her W up and you have passive for an all-in. This matchup in general requires excellent spacing. You temporarily win at 2 item spike but she'll eventually be too mobile to really catch and she'll just sustain back up | |||
![]() | 7 | Lose | Skill | Win | Play cautious early and be aware of Rumble's greatest strength being his early game and very powerful all-in. You win at 1 item and can run him down on repeat at 2 items. Early game you really want to play safe and only go for Grasp E trades when Rumble is overheated. Focus on dodging Rumble's E's. Do not get baited into trying to 1v1 Rumble until you hit your spikes. | |||
![]() | 3 | Skill | Win | Lose | ||||
![]() | 4 | Lose | Skill | Win | ||||
![]() | 2 | Skill | Skill | Win | ||||
![]() | 1 | Skill | Win | Win | ||||
![]() | 2 | Win | Win | Win | Free Matchup, you will always beat Sion in extended fights. Make sure you pop Sion's W shield before it goes off and block his R in teamfights. Push him in early from level 2 and all-in. You want a long lane to all-in so try to manage the wave to keep it on your side after you get a lead. Watch out for Sion's attempts to proxy and take jungle camps and don't let him scale into teamfights even though you still win 1v1. Take advantage of your prio to help your jungler | |||
![]() | 2 | Win | Skill | Win | ||||
![]() | 3 | Win | Skill | Win | ||||
![]() | 4 | Skill | Skill | Win | Free Matchup, you beat Tahm Kench at all points in the game. Tahm's W should be easy to dodge as its telegraphed, you can continously push him into tower and harass him with your Q's. At the game scales you destroy him in teamfights and in the sidelane. Mundo's Passive blocks Tahm Kench R(make sure you dodge his W) | |||
![]() | 4 | Skill | Skill | Win | Take Ghost Teleport and Play with Doran's Shield Second Wind to sustain early game and do not eat free poke. Play safe early game you have no kill pressure on teemo unless he pushes you into tower level 3-4 where you can look for an all-in if you land enough Q's in a long lane with ghost. The main issue with this lane is teemo's blind negates your E damage making it hard to do long fights until you get 2 items. You need to swap to red trinket to scan his mushrooms after first back. | |||
![]() | 5 | Skill | Skill | Win | Uninteractive lane that quickly turns into a stalement in the sidelane. You can kill him pre 6 if you poke him with enough Q's but thats about it. You are stronger than him in teamfights. Stacking health is effective versus trundle as his ult will steal resistances. | |||
![]() | 8 | Lose | Skill | Skill | Play to survive early game-mid game, you can outscale him in sidelane and teamfights once you have 3-4 items and frozen heart. Be especially careful of Tryndamere's Level 2, watch his fury bar. Don't let Tryndamere crash into tower, letting him set up a slow push and eventually a freeze. You want to thin the wave in front of your tower when he pushes in early. We take Phase rush so we can play safe and disengage. | |||
![]() | 3 | Skill | Skill | Win | Easy matchup, push Urgot into tower early game abusing his short range to constantly harass with Q. Urgot has one of the larger models in the game so it should be easy to land Q. Your passive blocks Urgot ult but be cautious of Urgot E popping your passive so take Flash and use it to avoid his E. Play right out of Urgot's E range constantly baiting him to all-in. | |||
![]() | 6 | Skill | Skill | Lose | Let Vayne push you in level 1 and avoid taking any poke damage. You want to all-in Vayne at level 4 and focus on landing 2-3 q's to whittle her down, once you land a few, pop ghost and run her down from your turret. Pop your W before she flashes out. Repeat this whenever you have ult and ghost up and focus on wave management keeping the wave at your tower so you have a long lane to run Vayne down. You're under a lot of pressure to push your lead early/mid game before Vayne starts to scale. | |||
![]() | 4 | Win | Win | Lose | ||||
![]() | 7 | Lose | Skill | Lose | ||||
![]() | 8 | Lose | Skill | Skill | This is a matchup where you want to play very disciplined early game. Warwick will constantly bait you into fighting him 1v1 by getting into situations where you are both low hp. He will just pop barrier and then heal with q and r. Instead of getting baited, poke him with Q's and play smart until you hit your 2 item spike where you can just roll over Warwick. Warwick will fall off if he doesn't get a lead early game. We use Phase Rush here and proc it when Warwick tries to fight us to disengage. | |||
![]() | 3 | Skill | Skill | Win | ||||
![]() | 6 | Lose | Win | Skill | Play safe early and focus on wave management. He'll push in the first waves but you want to thin the wave and don't let it crash, stay near tower. You can look to short trade Yasuo after he uses Q3 but be careful if you haven't popped his passive with Q. The ideal scenario is you are between Yasuo and the minion poking him and he has no access to minions to E onto. You auto-win the matchup at 2 items so its really just a matter of discipline getting there | |||
![]() | 7 | Skill | Skill | Skill | Play to survive this lane, you will win at 2 items. Once you hit your spike, you play to win extended fights while he wants short trades. When Yone uses E, you want to forcefully kite him back towards his original position. Block his ultimate when he tries to disengage. | |||
