Trade at first item.
WinCon
Mundo should look to poke you with q and e autos through the wave. At six he should try to land a cleaver on you and trades ults with you. His ult cooldown is much lower than yours so he will look for another all in soon after.
Wave Management
You want the wave near your turret so he can't effectively get on you with ult.
Try not to push the wave when you are farming with q.
Matchup Tips

Blade of the Ruined King is good into him, but nashor’s is better scaling wise.
Focus on dodging qs. Mundo has no gap close on you if he misses it.
Don’t trade with Cho’Gath early. Your trades are even, but much more sustain than you with his passive.
Go Dshield and Second wind, rush cull and boots asap.
Try to be unpredictable with your movements in general so he can’t predict his qs.
Trades
Don’t trade with mundo early, as he will outsustain you by a large margin.
Even post six, you don’t really do enough damage to pressure him.
When you have first item especially BORK, you can shred him without him counterplay from his side. Remember to kite properly, since he still has the damage to kill you.
