Wave will almost always be at your turret. If you know the enemy jungler is topside avoid getting dived by staying healthy and thinning the wave out before it crashes into your turret. The wave position also makes Heimderdinger vulnerable to ganks in the early game, but since you lack gank setup and a lot of damage a lot of jungler will not gank you regardless.

E>Q max. Level two if you are missing health skill w first and use it, since the wave should be pushing to you and you should be able to hit level three relatively quickly. Go Dshield and second wind for sustain against heimerdiner’s poke. Fleet Footwork is also recommended, but if you are confident in your laning phase lethal tempo is viable. Cull is very viable if you are confident. Heimerdinger can trade ults with you pretty effectively, which benefits him since his has a lower cooldown.

Pre six trades with heimerdinger is impossible. Do not take them. Post six focus on destroying his turrets since he lacks a lot of damage and pressure without them. If he is out of position you can q slow and look for autos but try to focus on dodging his skillshots so he cannot he damage back onto you.
