You want the wave near your turret always in this matchup so he w onto you. Try not to push the wave when you are farming or poking with q.

3Q>E Max Take Doran’s Shield and second wind in this matchup for the sustain against his q spam. Do not get in his w range if he has mortal will up. His max q range is your auto range. Look to fight him post six when his mortal will is down and around his e cooldown. Give Pantheon an extreme amount of respect pre six. Play to stay healthy Give up cs if you have to but stay in xp range. Ping his roams post six.

Do not trade with Pantheon in the early game. He does so much base damage that you cant compete with. Moreover he can jump onto you with w and e out so you can’t even trade back with him. Post six trades are not favored until you get first item. The lethality he has from serrated dirk makes his combo hit even harder. However you can look to q auto e him whenever he misses q or uses it on the wave. Do not do this if he has mortal will up since he can jump onto you and still out trade you even without his q.
